HISTORY of The Apostolic Church National Youth & Young Adult Ministries [TACNYM]
In 2006, after the National Convention, two brothers came together to assess and address a desire in their hearts. The desire was nothing more than finding a way to expand the focus on the youth nationally. In efforts to exploring this idea, they reached out to some friends who shared the same desires and submitted a proposal to the National Executive Council for consideration. The Council deliberated and honored the proposal of creating a National Youth Conference for all youths in TACUSA. The committee members that started this vision were:

The vision was birthed in 2008 with the introduction of the first Youth Conference held in Washington DC. We were blessed to have youths and young adults from various assemblies and districts make the journey to Washington DC to be a part of something new and promising. In fact, the attendance superseded the number of expected attendees. For one reason or the other, there was a five-year gap between the next Youth Conference held in 2013 in Houston, TX. Even though we did not see quite a few faces we saw at the previous conference, we were pleased to see new faces and new assemblies. The ministry transformed into The Apostolic Church National Youth Ministry (TACNYM) in 2015 and expanded the ministry to The Apostolic Church National Youth & Young Adult Ministries, which consists of Youths, Young Adult-Singles, Young Adult-Married, and Leadership Ministries.
